Executive Coaching
Seeking more confidence, inspiration and strategies to become a next-level leader?
Looking to motivate and fully engage your staff?
Ready to sharpen your organizational vision to garner more internal and external support?
I’ve assisted hundreds of managers and leaders across sectors to take critical leaps in their lives and careers, stepping more fully into their leadership. Whether it’s running a complex organization or building your skills as a new manager, I provide the information, support and strategic counsel needed to go deeper, unlocking your leadership potential and paving the way for significant new impacts.
Research shows that transformational leadership is necessary to foster an innovative organization and that, in turn, innovative organizations last longer and create more impact. Transformational leaders approach their work and colleagues with a sense of authentic curiosity. They build open learning cultures, where creativity is valued, mistakes are seen as growth opportunities and there is support for informed risk-taking. They build environments rooted in direct, respectful communication with clear and effective accountability practices.
Transformational leadership also requires knowing yourself and your operating system — what allows you to do your best work and what gets in the way of that — how to share power and responsibility and make smart bets on talented people. This can seem out of reach, especially with all the other demands on you. But the Self-Leadership process methodically breaks down the work into very manageable, energizing steps that allow you to not only realize your goals, but often to surpass what you thought possible and work with less stress and more focus and joy.
Duo/Couples Coaching
I also provide coaching for duos — colleagues, business partners, co-founders, family members and others. When you’re taking leaps in your own individual trajectory, it can be really helpful to bring in those close to you to work through key issues and amplify community and meaning. Clients often choose a combination of individual and duo coaching.
A Fun Bonus: Motivational Mantras
Feeling like you need a little creative jolt? Once I get to know what you're grappling with, I’ll send you a gratis, unique and hand-crafted “motivational mantra” on request!
“Cathy worked with me when I needed to make some staff changes at WIBO. She was invaluable. She coached me on human resources issues and helped me to organize the internal infrastructure. My confidence and expertise increased as a result of her service. Cathy knows her stuff and will work you through any difficulties. She is patient, organized and empowering.”
